Hey y'all! If you've been reading for a while, you know that one of my favorite Christmas gifts was my monogram necklace from my parents. I've worn it so many times since I've got it and have paired it pretty perfectly with a lot of my favorite outfits. I've always seen monogram necklaces paired with pearls on Pinterest, but was disappointed to find out that both my necklace and my favorite string of pearls were 16", so they overlapped whenever I put them together. I was disappointed, but knew that had to be some way to make it work.
I did a little research and decided to go to Hobby Lobby (heaven on earth for anyone who loves to craft as much as I do). When I originally went, I was looking for an extension for my necklace. When I went to the jewelry isle and couldn't find one, I was pretty upset. I decided to look at what they did have, though, and was super excited to find a 7.5" bracelet chain for under five dollars.
Using pliers, I attached the extension to the end of my necklace without the clip. It took me under a minute to do. I can now choose how long I want my necklace to be and adjust it accordingly. And the best part? It looks perfect with pearls!
