You Better Run

One of the most freeing feelings in the world is running after a rainstorm.  When there's still a breeze and a few puddles, the weather is perfect.  You sweat, but you can't feel it.  It seems so easy to just run farther and farther, picking up speed and feeling like you're being carried by the wind.  Today's run was especially great, because I could see the leaves slowly falling to the ground.  There's no need for music, because you lose yourself in the calming scent of rain.  Can't remember the last time I felt that alive.
